The Easter Chick’s Surprise

One chilly autumn day the Easter Bunny woke up and opened his door. Now you may be wondering what the Easter Bunny is doing in this story on Halloween but you'll see soon enough.The Easter Bunny shivered and started thinking about preparing for Halloween. Santa and his elf helpers have things to do all year, preparing and wrapping presents. But the Easter Bunny doesn’t have that much to do, so he spends his time decorating for Christmas and Halloween.

He went to his workshop and started working . His workshop is full of brushes, paints and egg molds - this is where he made easter eggs for the whole world.

On the other side of the forest the Easter Chick was sitting on his bed, looking out of the window. He was sad. He was sad because he didn’t have anything to prepare for Halloween. He didn’t have any paints, brushes or material.

Back on the other side of the forest the Easter Bunny had finished preparing for Halloween. He had ghost bunting, halloween cake and two costumes. Can you guess who the second one was for? The Easter Bunny went across the whole forest all the way to the Easter Chick’s house. The Easter Chick had just decided to make some tea when he heard a knock on the door. The Easter Chick opened the door and…”SURPRISE” said the Easter Bunny. He had brought a costume for the Easter Chick!

The Easter Chick was very happy. He put on the costume and so did the Easter Bunny and they went to trick or treat all the animals in the whole forest.
