Wisdom, a curse in disguise,
Wrapped in truth, beneath the skies.
It whisper slowly, yet so clear,
A weight to bear, a truth to fear.
With every lesson, sharp as glass,
It cuts the soul, yet will not pass.
The knowing comes, but peace departs,
For wisdom haunts the open hearts.
In silence, deep, the shadows grow,
With every truth, the deeper vow.
For wisdom, though it sheds its light,
Can blind the soul, and steal the sight.
A gift, a burden, worn so thin,
The heart grows heavy, lost within.
Yet still, we seek it, heart and mind,
To lose ourselves, and yet to find.
